How it works
Find, explore, contact
Start with your location or photography brief. We help you discover a photographer; you arrange your shoot directly with them.
Choose a place or photography type
Browse locations, explore the map or choose a specialism. A photographer’s listed base is a starting point: ask them whether they travel to your venue.
Read the listing
Check the photographer’s specialisms and description against your brief. For a business shoot, distinguish team headshots, event coverage and commercial imagery so you can ask for relevant portfolio examples.
Explore the photographer’s website
Follow the website link to view their portfolio and contact details. Look for complete examples of the kind of work you need, and read their current service information.
Agree the details directly
Ask about your date, location, image delivery, usage and total price. Your enquiry and any booking are with the photographer, not UK Photographers.
Still deciding?
Our photographer selection guide helps you turn a shortlist into a clear brief. If your location has no listing, try your wider county or another nearby place, then confirm travel with the photographer.
What does “curated” mean?
The directory is manually managed, rather than open to automatic publication. See our editorial policy for the information considered when assessing a listing and the limits of a directory recommendation.
Are you a photographer?
Request consideration for a listing. The first step is a short email with your location, website and specialisms. Inclusion is not automatic.
